Description

Cinquains are short and easy poems to master, which makes them a great early assignment for a creative writing course, a quick enrichment activity, or a mini-lesson for reviewing adjectives, synonyms, and descriptive writing.

This lesson includes a slideshow that goes over the necessary words (adjectives and synonyms), cinquain form, and examples. This lesson also contains a worksheet that guides students through the brainstorming and writing process, as well as a suggested lesson plan. No prep needed!
