This is a fun secret code Area and Circumference of circles Pi Day activity.
Questions involve using the area and circumference formulas for circles – to find area and circumference and also in reverse to find the radius and diameter.
It can be printed in black and white or colour.
There is a sheet with a set of circles - you are given just 1 piece of information for each circle – these are the clues. Each circle represents a letter of the alphabet.
There are 5 worksheets to go with the clues. Each worksheet has a set of questions to solve to find the correct circles and their corresponding letters.
The letters form an anagram. Unscramble the letters to find the answer to each “Pi” related question.
This activity is suitable to use for a fun GCSE revision session for both foundation and higher levels.
It can also be used for Key Stage 3 and 4.
All answers and answer keys are included.
All measurements are in centimetres.
Calculators are required.
