The objective of this lesson is to have the students collect, display and analyze data from a sport survey. The students select their favorite sport and a worksheet is completed using the class data. The students convert the results into a fraction of the whole, then to a percent of the whole, then to the number of degrees necessary to draw the angles of a circle. The students create the circle graph from their angle measures. The whole class will then analyze, discuss and interpret the results. Have fun graphing, Lessons by Liz.
