Researchers, particularly from other countries, are asking us to find balance and focus on the highest priority content. In fact, they are stating that many of our learners can internalize concepts today, quicker than we may think. In turn, we may need to change the way we teach some elementary concepts, and adjusting our pacing- balancing content concepts and hands on.
A goal of Circle Science and Smart Words is to simple expose young learners to vocabulary and content language/concepts they will experience in more depth later. This will hopefully, help students delve into these content areas easier.
No, it's not rocket science. We can be smart and have fun!
Thank you for considering this for your students!
