MAJOR UPDATE!!!! MARCH 2017
Looking for a great song to teach body parts? Head, shoulders, knees and toes is a fun song that lends itself for great language as the students point to (receptive language) and label (expressive language).
Prior to the update, this was a one-page lyric product for one dollar. A buyer commented that it was visually busy for some of her students and asked for one that was less busy. This is my attempt at that. Another buyer said she gave it to families so I made one version that is black and white. Please feel free to use the ask question section on my store to make suggestions.
I use this rhyme for a variety of students from students
• Preschool, kindergarten, and first graders as part of a poem choice
• Fluency cases to practice smooth speech
• Students who need visual supports including students on the autism spectrum, students with attention deficit, students with cognitive difficulties, and students with speech or language difficulties.

Song Card: have the children follow along the verse card from left to right.
-Touch the body parts as you sing the song.
-Sing it once regular tempo, then sing it slowly, then try to go as fast as you can.
This is adapted or like a rebus read so the children who are non-readers can follow the verse.
