The goal of this activity is to help children/adolescents develop insight into some of our thoughts/worries. We want to draw more attention towards the things that are IN our control, and the things that are NOT in our control.

1. Copies of “Page 1” and “Page 2”
3. Glue/glue stick
1. Each child gets a copy of Page 1 and Page 2 as well as a pair of scissors and a glue stick.
2. Together with the child/class/group, go over each scenario (page 2) and have each child cut out the scenarios and place each scenario in the appropriate circle (page 1).

1.Each child gets a copy of Page 3 and Page 4 as well as a pair of scissors and a glue stick.
2.Independently, or in pairs, have the child/children go over the critical thinking scenarios (page 4) and have each child cut out the scenarios and place each scenario in the appropriate circle (page 3). Encourage children to work together to complete their diagrams..
