Circle of power and respect (CPR) is a crucial component of the Origins Developmental Designs program for social-emotional learning. Developmental Designs is meant for secondary level, grades 6-12.
"The Circle of Power and Respect (CPR) is a daily, whole-group gathering designed to build community. CPR's format of greeting, sharing, activity, and daily news is a friendly ritual that builds social skills and trusting relationships that facilitate learning."
This is the morning meeting planned out in an introductory way for the student's benefit. There are three weeks worth of plans not including the daily news, which you can personalize for your class and school.
