PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

UPDATED ON 12/22/2013 - Now includes 2 files in a zip folder. The second file was created so that teachers had the option to use 3.14 to find the circumference, or to simply use 3 as a circumference. They are the same EXACT presentations, only making the changes necessary to those particular slides.

This is a two for one deal! You get a bright, interactive Power Point that couples with a hands-on printable packet! I even included directions and photos for your kiddos to create their very own "Circle Art" projects!

So here's what you are getting with your purchase:

A Power Point presentation that breaks down, shows, and explains what a radius, diameter, circumference, and central angle are. This presentation will show your kiddos how to find each and will require them to practice a little as well. This then leads into a hands-on interactive lesson, using your printable 'Circle Packet' that is included in the slide show.

I have also included photos and directions for their 'Circle Art Projects," a "How to Use" slide, and answer keys!

I completed this lesson with my own students and found that their understanding went from zero to overflowing by the time we were finished! They had SUCH a great time doing the project at the end and even asked if they could do another!

I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!
Many thanks,
Joey Udovich
