I made this graphic organizer with manipulatives to preteach circles vocabulary and visually see circles vocabulary. There are two versions available, one with the definitions preprinted for student to just sketch the diagrams from the manipulatives and one without the definitions for students to write the definitions and sketch the diagrams.
I use multiple fonts to distinguish academic vocabulary within the definitions.
The intent of this graphic organizer is for one 45 minute class period with 16 key vocabulary words centrally located. I divide the class into three parts. First students sketch the details of the diagrams into their graphic organizer (definitions too as an option), second choose a word to make a class/hall vocabulary set to post, and third I review key details in the vocabulary.
This graphic organizer utilizes a full sheet of 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper intended to be glued into interactive student notebooks (ISN). Tabs are included for your ISN’s.
