A game from Marilyn Burns in her About Teaching Mathematics book.
Students roll the die to draw given amount of circles. Then they roll the die again and draw that many stars in each of the circles. You can use traditional die or create your own to have students practice multiplication facts you desire.
A great way for students to practice their facts and truly understand that multiplication is equal groups!
In the end they add all their products from each round. Another opportunity to practice their addition skills and comparing numbers.
