I wrote these circuits to get algebra one students familiar with some of the new ninth grade algebra Common Core State Standards (CCSS). In fact, many of these problems were inspired by the new PARCC assessment items. Students will be highly engaged with the circuit format as they work problems and progress towards deeper fluency and understanding. The circuits build in difficulty which lends itself to differentiated instruction. Students must hunt for their answers to advance in the circuit. This element of self-check in the math classroom is essential! For this bargain price of $8, your students can work FIVE circuits: One on function notation, one on algebraic area and perimeter, one on finding structure in an equation, one on regression (linear, quadratic, exponential), and one on finding zeros of linear, quadratic and exponential functions. Some of these circuits can be found separately for sale in my TpT store for $2.50 each.
