This set of 20 exercises begins easy "find the area (in terms of x) of a square with perimeter 8x" and builds to incorporate knowledge of surface area, special right triangles, and pythagorean triples. Perfect for advanced geometry students and/or algebra two students who are studying trig, and definitely useful in precalculus. I wrote it for my AP students before we tackle volumes of solids from known cross sections.
There is no answer key included in this or any of my circuits because the answers are imbedded in the circuit. The only thing the teacher needs to do is work the circuit ahead of the students to understand the progression and decide where the circuit best fits within the curriculum. I have used circuits for everything from in class cooperative work, assignments, guided notes, an around the room scavenger hunt -- you name it!
If you get stuck or suspect an error in the circuit, please do not hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
