This 20 problem circuit progresses from calculating molar masses to mole, gram, and molecule calculations. It ends with several problems requiring students to start or end with a number of atoms of an element inside a compound. This gives students the benefit of having them master the initial individual calculations related to moles in chemistry and then begin to combine them in problems.
May be worked cooperatively, as homework, or as a quiz.
Students answer the question found in cell #1 and search through the rest of the circuit for the cell that has that answer in it. They label that cell #2 and work it and continue through the rest of the circuit until the final cell is worked and its answer is found in cell #1, completing the circuit.
