Directions: Begin in cell #1. Find either the domain or range (as specified). Search for your answer and mark that cell #2. Continue in this manner until you complete the circuit. Note: This circuit can be worked with or without students using graphing technology. I would allow my algebra one students to use technology, but not my algebra two or pre-calculus students. Sketching a graph for each where one is not given is helpful.
The 20 questions are mainly function equations (linear, quadratic, absolute value, square root, and exponential). There are 4 pictures (semi-circles, square root, and piecewise). There are two word problems (both linear).
Once you and your students try a circuit, you will be hooked! I do not include an answer key since the answers are embedded in the circuit. But, should you ever get stuck, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will help!
