Engage your students with the circuit format! This 14-question circuit asks students to draw triangles based on given information, and asks them to find a missing side or angle. All cases are included: AAS, ASA, SSS, SAS, and even SSA and AAA. There are also two word problems towards the end. Technology use (scientific calculator) is required on all questions.
I wrote this circuit as a request for an accelerated geometry teacher, but if can definitely be used in algebra 2, precalculus, trigonometry, or as ACT prep.
You will love the sounds of your students working in this format! Mine do not get up when the bell rings.
I do not include answer keys with my circuits since the answers are embedded in the circuit (it is how the students move from one question to the next in a scavenger hunt manner). The only prep the teacher needs to do is work the circuit ahead of the students. Let the circuit take care of the rest!
