Your students will stay engaged as they work to solve these separable differential equations in the circuit format. After finding the particular solution, students must hunt for the answer to a specific question about a given independent or dependent value for the particular solution. In this way it is much more than a matching exercise and students will have a hard time working backwards from the answer choices (until the end).

The 8 differential equations are progressive in nature (yet arranged in a scavenger-hunt like path) so students start on the easiest one and advance from there.

The questions are of a similar difficulty level to ones on national calculus exams. All types are included: natural log, u-subsitution, and trig. Great for instruction, cooperative work or test prep.

Enjoy watching your students work! Mine don't leave even when the bell rings!
