Your students will be highly engaged as they practice solving linear systems (graphing, substitution, and elimination are the methods -- plus choose your own method towards the end!). Students must hunt for their answer to advance in the circuit. This element of self-check in the mathematics classroom is essential. Answers are in the form "To advance in the circuit, hunt for 3y +x" so students can not work backwards from their answers. Written for Algebra I, but can be used in Algebra II and even in college algebra. Can be made easily into a scavenger hunt and/or task cards. Perfect for guided notes, review, cooperative work, in class work -- the possibilities are endless!
