Give your students engaging practice with the circuit format! This 26-question circuit has it all... questions about arithmetic sequences, slope, and rate of change. Solving equations, word problems, tables of values, graphs and function notation. I wrote this to be a unit wrap-up for my algebra I students but it can be used for algebra 2 students as a refresher at the beginning of the year. None of the questions require a calculator, but you may want your students to use a calculator if it speeds them up without compromising understanding.
Like all of my circuits, the problems are mostly progressive in nature. Students begin in the first cell, answer that question and then hunt for their answer. When they find it, that becomes the next problem. This element of self-check in the math classroom is essential and allows students of all levels to progress and get good practice.
There is no answer key included with the download since the answers are part of the circuit. The only thing teachers have to do is work the circuit ahead of their students to decide how best to use it in their classroom. My colleagues and I check our circuits very carefully, but should you ever suspect error or get stuck, please do not hesitate to email email@example.com.
