When students complete this circuit, they will have written equations for 16 lines given all different kids of information from slope and y-intercept to two points, to a story, to a table, to parallel and perpendicular. My students love the circuit format because it forces them to hunt for their answers before they advance to the next question. The questions build in difficulty so it is perfect for centers or differentiated instruction.
I have been teaching for 25 years and I know the common student mistakes and misconceptions, and I weave these into my circuits so students are forced to talk about mathematics.
The teacher should work the circuit first to make sure s/he understands the progression: that is the only prep needed!
