•This lesson gives students extra practice applying previously learned constructions. Students will use angle bisectors to construct the incenter of a triangle and use perpendicular bisectors to construct the circumcenter of a triangle.
•Students will make the connection that they can draw a circle in relation to each triangle centered at their respective centers.
•Worksheets may be printed out, or you may have students draw their own triangles.
Students learn how to do different types of constructions with a compass and straightedge:
•The lesson ends with a self assessment where students reflect upon what they have learned.
