Circumference of Circles Math Lib
In this activity, students will generate pieces to a story as they move throughout ten stations. They will practice finding the circumference of circles given the radius or diameter. Their answer to each station will give them a piece of their story (who, doing what, with who, where, when, etc.). *Note - calculations were done using the pi symbol on the calculator. If your students use 3.14, their answer will be within 1-2 tenths of the answer shown.
This is a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and the students adore reading the story to the class. They get very excited to see which of their teachers is the "star" of the story. I included an editable page of the first station so that you can change to teacher names within your own building. I also included both the color and black and white versions of the activity.
