The Circus - A Sight Word Phrase Story ...
The Circus repeats the sight word phrase, "We like." It contains hands-on activities with seven pages the early emergent reader will use to make a full-size booklet measuring 8 1/2” x 11”. A cover is included, as well as pictures to support the text.
Run the copies and staple together the booklet cover and pages one to five.
Read the sentence.
Let the pictures help you.
Trace the sentence.
Fill in the blank (cloze sentence).
Cut and paste the correct sentence onto the correct page.
Follow directions to draw and color the circus on page 5.
Create a title, and write it on the given line on page 5.
As the illustrator, write your name.
