Product Description
This informational text on plant reproduction is accompanied by two short response questions that require students to state a claim and use TWO details citing evidence to support their claim. The informational text is written at two Lexile ranges (900-990 range and 670-770 range) for differentiation. The text is also accompanied by six multiple choice questions.

*Complete answer keys* are included for each page with the CCSS listed next to each question. Short response questions include an answer key of model responses. I hope you and your students enjoy this seasonal way to incorporate the standards by using this nonfiction text about plants!
Use this product as a whole group teaching tool, homework, small group activity, or as a center for students who have had experience with answering questions using claims and text details.

Although I created this product to use with my 4th graders, it can be used in grades 4-6 when keeping the CCSS of varying text complexity in mind.
