Product Description

This lesson walks students through creating two types of thesis statements, how to write in-text citation and tips for skillful elaboration. The PowerPoint presentations guides students while they are filling out their notes and gradually releases them to practice on their own.

The informational article is from Psychology Today, titled "Me, Myselfie and I". This article outlines the pros and psychological cons of social networking sites. The Reading Guide provides quick annotation labels and asks students to fill out the pros and cons worksheet as they read.

The first slide of the PowerPoints contains three "I will be able to..." statements, so students are aware of their learning target goals for this lesson.
