This 32 page documents includes instructions and resources for teachers and librarians to teach their K-6 students how to cite their sources. There are pages that can be used as printouts and worksheets alongside information just for you (as an educator). I'm very excited to load it as it's one that I've been working on for quite some time.
Objectives are included for each grade level. Kindergarten begins with, "I am able to cite my sources verbally or through images." Sixth grade ends with, "I am able to cite my sources (at least four) through an accurate, error-free works cited page." and "I am able to accurately use in-text citations in at least two assignments." Resources for how to cite verbally, through images, or in writing are all included. Pages from 1st, 4th, and 6th grade are included in the preview.
Let's increase the information skills of our students through their ability to cite their research!
I am always available online for any questions or requests for assistance you may have, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org. I am also always looking for ways to improve my resources so feedback is appreciated.
