Review or reinforce the selection and citing of text-evidence with this student activity page. It includes two passages about young Olympians, a quick reference on how-to cite text evidence, and opportunities to practice four techniques for citing text evidence, including:

  • Direct Quote
  • Indirect Quote (paraphrasing)
  • Signal-phrase citation
  • Parenthetical citation
