Product Description
A brief PowerPoint demonstrating why it is so important to cite textual evidence. (This is a standard we use often from the Common Core Standards) It includes an acronym on the last slide to help students remember how to answer short response questions. There is a short excerpt included from Sue Monk Kidd's, "The Secret Life of Bees," that gives a sample question with an example for how to cite textual evidence within that response. There is also a sample question for students to practice.
