This Types of Government unit includes 33 pages of engaging, hands-on activities that will teach your students the basics of autocratic, oligarchic, and democratic governments--presidential and parliamentary, and how citizens participate in each of them. This packet includes everything you need to ensure that the students know ALL about the different government types. Here's what is included:
--PowerPoint slide-style notes about each of the types (These colorful pages can also be printed out and used as posters around the room!)
--Cards for each of the vocabulary terms that can be posted on your Word Wall (I've also included a blank template for you to write your own words, if needed)
--A "Who Am I?" review game
--A fun craftivity where the students create mascots
--Worksheet with comprehension questions
--A creative group assignment where the students roll a dice to see which activity they will complete
--A comic strip activity where the students can "show what they know"
