A grades 1-3 Social Studies Mini-Unit to Introduce Students to Good Citizenship.
Teach your students about good citizenship. Introduce students to ways that they can be a good citizen and what it looks like in their community. Students can explore citizenship by observing those in their community, acting out dramatic skits for their class with the scenario cards, and critically thinking about what good citizens would do when faced with different scenarios. Students will continue to explore good citizenship at home, in their school, and in their community through various engagement activities, with the use of graphic organizers, drama, and with the incorporation of writing.
