This document contains four activities I use each year as part of our lessons on being a good citizen. My students use interactive journals/notebooks in which we add charts and other items that can provide the student with resources for follow-up activities and even assessments. I have used Page 1 in scenarios where students work with partners or in small group settings. Page 2 provides students with a resource for them to document the five main rules we develop as a class. Page 3 (doubled for copying efficiency) is a sorting activity that I have students complete on an empty page of their journal. Page 4 is used after our five class rules are established. This can also be completed in a small group/partner setting, yet I have also used it as independent work as well.
