PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

As a Civics teacher, you know how challenging the Civics EOC questions can be! Help your students put their knowledge to best use by teaching them the academic vocabulary they need to be successful!

This study guide helps students gain a better understanding of common academic vocabulary that they will encounter on the Civics EOC. But the best part is that it also uses each word in a Civics specific sentence! It's like getting a 2-for-1 Review!

Here are a few examples from the study guide:

Word: execute
Definition: To carry out or accomplish
Example: The Executive Branch uses its many agencies (FBI, Social Security, IRS, etc.) to carry out the nation’s laws.

Word: forbid
Definition: To command someone to not do something
Example: According to the 1st Amendment, the government is forbidden from promoting a national religion.
