This is a photo story (basically a slide show with narration and a soundtrack) that I created to introduce my Civil Rights Unit. It is about 2 and a half minutes long and is a great anticipatory set for a civil rights lesson in US History, Government, or Civics. It would be a good addition to a flipped classroom. It begins with the Constitution and moves through the modern civil rights era. This is something that could easily be posted on a class website, or shown to a whole class. Students can create their own photo stories and this might be used as an example. Civil Rights, Constitution, Martin Luther King Jr., 1960's.
