PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this gallery walk, active engagement is facilitated as students walk throughout the classroom, rotating though seven stations. As students work together in small groups they are encouraged to share ideas and respond to meaningful questions relating to five historic photographs from the Civil Rights Movement.

Some of the milestone events Included:

Brown v. Board of Education
Integration of Central High School, Little Rock, Arkansas
Sit-in at Woolworth's Lunch Counter, Jackson, Mississippi
Freedom Rides, Anniston, Alabama
March on Washihngton, Washington DC
