This unique Civil Rights timeline project can be used as a culminating activity or used as an alternative assessment in most middle or high school-level United States History or Civil Rights History courses.
I incorporate this project into both my United States History course and my Civil Rights History course.
I allow students one week to complete the project. I devote a minimum of three full class periods to work on the project.
