Perfect for MLK Day! These 28 task cards encourage students to trace the Civil Rights Movement from the Jim Crow era through the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. Students will read and describe secondary sources and analyze primary sources. Task cards include QR Codes for easy scanning, but I’ve also included two pages of web links.
Task cards are a great way to engage students in the curriculum. They are more engaging than worksheets, and students only have to focus on one task at a time. 24 of these task cards teach students about events of the civil rights movement. The last four cards are mini projects to help students bring all of the information together.
