-----------------------------

In this very engaging resource, students complete a map graphic organizer where they detail 11 major events of the American Civil War!

Students complete a map organizer that shows each learner where, geographically, the war is being fought. Then, students follow the included 62 slide PowerPoint to complete the handout. Each of the major event includes a video to enhance learning and interest! The events covered in the presentation (and then are labeled on the organizer) are:

- Bull Run/Manassas
- Antietam/Sharpsburg
- Gettysburg
- Peninsula Campaign
- Fredericksburg
- Chancellorsville
- Sherman’s March to the Sea
- Andersonville Prison
- Vicksburg
- Shiloh
- Appomattox Courthouse

To conclude, students compare the two major generals: Robert E Lee and Ulysses S Grant!

This resource includes a paper in-class version and a 1:1 Google compatible version to be used in conjunction with Google Classroom. Just follow the included instructions for how to access the Google version, then share the resource through Google or assign via Google Classroom. This will allow students to type directly into the document!

Enjoy!
