In our study of the Civil War era, the students will assume the role of REPORTERS. You are a team of newspaper reporters, living in this very turbulent time, the Civil War years. The boom of cannons, firing of guns, and the clanging of swords ring in your ears at battles rage all around you. It is a site you will never forget as you witness war in it's most terrible form! Pitting brother against brother and neighbor against neighbor, you think back to the days when this same lush, green country side was your and your friends playground. Now, it is crimson with the spilled blood of the nation. The country is being torn apart before your eyes!
