When learning about the Civil War, it's important for students to understand the growing tensions between the North and South that led to this conflict. My product includes a two-page reading passage to build student knowledge about this topic, and a sort-and-match activity to help students see the differences between these two regions. This product can be used on its own, or it can supplement your existing social studies instruction. The sort-and-match activity can be laminated and use again and again, or students can glue it into their notebooks to be used as a reference.
