This Civil War Test is based on the 5th Grade Georgia Performance Standards, but is easily used with most Civil War curriculum units, regardless of the state.
It will consist of many types of questions, including multiple choice, matching, and short answer.
The following items are assessed: Abraham Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, Jefferson Davis, Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson, Harriet Tubman, Harriet Beecher Stowe, John Brown, Gettysburg, PA, Appomattox Court House, VA, Atlanta, GA, Fort Sumter, SC, John Brown’s Raid, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, Sherman’s March to the Sea, The Anaconda Plan, The Underground Railroad, The Missouri Compromise, Causes of the Civil War, Strengths, weaknesses, and differences between the North and the South.
