PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This download includes two Civil War timeline activities.

Activity 1
Students will cut out event cards, read the information on the cards, and glue them in order on a timeline. The following events are included:
1. The Secession Convention
2. Forming of the Confederate States of America
3. Firing on Fort Sumter
4. Battle of Gettysburg
5. End of the Civil War
The timeline will be used to answer questions.

Activity 2
This activity has the same information as the first activity. This one can be used as differentiation.
Students will read and color Civil War events. These events are already in order. **Notice** This activity includes an extra event- Emancipation Proclamation.** The following events are included:
1. The Secession Convention
2. Forming of the Confederate States of America
3. Firing on Fort Sumter
4. Issuing of the Emancipation Proclamation
5. The Battle of Gettysburg
6. Ending of the Civil War
The students will use the events to answer questions.
