In this fun activity, students will pretend to be paleontologist and "extract" some fossils and use them to create a cladogram. They will start by reading the notes, answering questions, think about characteristics and how organisms evolve. Finally, they will record inferences about the fossils they see and complete a chart. Then, they will cut out fossils and use them to construct a cladogram. Finally, they will answer some post lab questions. Focus is on what is necessary to be successful on the Regents Living Environment exam.
