The first 16 pages includes instructional materials to teach students about claims, evidence, reasoning (CER) and about proper citation. The instructional materials use clear history text examples and include printable guided practice graphic organizers for students to complete. Answer keys are included too! Students learn to:

✅ Evaluate and select strong evidence to support a claim

✅ Develop strong written reasoning/commentary/analysis skills
