This file is a template for a class book.
It includes a cover page ("Our Class Book of Similes") and 9 pages of similes that involve /ou/ or /ow/ words (as tall as a mountain, as funny as a clown, as proud as a peacock).
There is space for students to illustrate the simile, and then write a paragraph explaining their illustration (" ___ was as proud as a peacock because...")
In my class, I run 3 copies of the book so that there are 27 pages, and each simile will be illustrated and explained by three different students.
