Class Books Galore
A cover for every story and a page to create class books with your Kinders or First Graders: 17 class book ideas included.
I have always been a strong supporter of creating class books with students. All the class books that we have created have always been extremely popular during independent reading, partner reading, choice time and any time. They are repetitive in nature and children always seem to find ease when reading them. For this reason, I decided to create a packet of class book pages to use as a reading response during shared reading or read aloud and covers for each class book that you might create with your students. The covers can be copied, laminated and glued or stapled on to a 3 hole punch report cover or binder. Then each page can be run off with 3 holes or you can punch holes to place in the cover brads or binder to create the class books.
The Read Aloud or Shared Reading books included are just a sampling of books I have used during my career to create class books. I have included ideas for book use as well.

Throw Your Tooth on the Roof: Tooth Traditions from Around the World by Selby Beeler (Great book which tells a story about other cultures and how they celebrate when a child loses his/her first tooth. Great for compare and contrast Venn Diagrams and tooth charts, graphs etc.)
