This is used to help students keep track of their dojo points.
Great for teaching them about checks and balances!
*Note- I use this with fourth graders, third would be okay, but going lower than that might be hard.
They write the date they received or lost points, the activity for which they received or bought/lost points, the points + or -, and then total points.
My students use it throughout the year. They get "paid" on Fridays and have "Dojo store" open for ten minutes. They will then write down what the bought and keep track throughout the year. Of course it takes practice, but I love it because it helps them to be more responsible...I DO NOT keep track of points... It's all on them...and if they lose their page, they can get a new one...but they lose all the points they had before.
