Are you using Class Dojo in your classroom? Here are some great posters to hang in your room to display the point system and to make your students excited about using Class Dojo. Every Friday, I award the top 5 point earners in the class with the corresponding reward in the chart. Whatever place the students come in, they can choose a reward from their place or from one of the places below. There are often a lot of ties, so many students receive rewards! In addition, most of the rewards are intangible (for example, get an extra book shopping day) so they are easy to give. We review the points as a class and the students who are awarded write down the reward they choose on a post-it and put it on my desk. It is very exciting and motivating for the children!
Suggestion: When you print these, you may want to print in poster-size. Here's how: When your print dialog box opens, click on "Properties" and then "Page Setup". In the page setup there should be a choice for "Tiling/Poster" and you can usually specify the number of pages you want your poster printed on. Then, after it prints, there are dashed lines that show you where to trim the poster and you will see how you can tape it together. I did this and then laminated them and it made a great, easy-to-read, long-lasting display in my classroom!
