I LOVE using Class Dojo! I was having trouble with having the students know where they were in points as well as how to reward their behavior. Treasure box every week was unrealistic, and I just wasn't sure what else to do. Meet my solution- I combined some ideas I found on Pinterest and online and created a reward list (the students will get a reward when they earn a certain number of points) and a tracking system so the students can see how many points they and their classmates have. I do not reset their points- I just let them accumulate throughout the year. We really are focusing on the positive!
I use this in my classroom to help my students keep track of their progress on Class Dojo. As they earn the points they move their name or number through the chart. You can attach the charts together with ribbon and use clothes pins to have students move through the chart or you can put it on a magnetic surface. This helps the students see where they are in comparison to the rest of the class. If a student earns more than 100 points, they can start from the beginning again.
