I didn't want to create a class blog this year so I created an Instagram. Let me just say, a million times easier! In fact, my students are in charge of posting daily (with my approval of course). It's so easy to manage and is a great way to communicate learning with your families. In addition, it gives students a sense of responsibility and teaches them about digital citizenship.
2/15/16**UPDATE**I added an editable version so you can change the pledge, directions, and parent letter
This resources has everything you need to get set up:
Steps to create a private account
Safety Pledge (you can even have students sign it)
Parent Permission Slip
Desktop Signs and Directions
Sentence Starters for students to use when creating captions
Class Check-off list to keep track of who is posting
Bulletin Board Idea and Activity Page
Turquoise pages are teacher directions.
How to get TPT credit to use on future purchases:
• Please go to your My Purchases page (you may need to login). Beside each purchase you'll see a Provide Feedback button. Simply click it and you will be taken to a page where you can give a quick rating and leave a short comment for the product. Each time you give feedback, TPT gives you feedback credits that you use to lower the cost of your future purchases. I value your feedback greatly as it helps me determine which products are most valuable for your classroom so I can create more for you. ☺
