Product Description
I give students the opportunity to have a class job. I pay in tickets - those raffle type tickets that are stamped so students don't make their own. Many students remark that they haven't had a class job since elementary school, but most of them love it! There are two bonuses for the student. First, a ticket is a bathroom pass. I give everyone three tickets at the beginning of the semester and will also give them out for doing the right thing. Second, I have auctions on Friday - their payday - and the bidding is done with tickets. A candy bar or a bag of chips is a big motivator for them. At the end of the semester, I encourage them to bring in items for a big auction. I give tickets to those who contribute. Then we use paper lunch sacks to hold the tickets. Students put their names on the tickets. The winner of a particular items is the one whose ticket is pulled from the bag.
