To get my students seated, quiet, and their brains thinking MATH, I have 3 problems a day for them to begin. I usually choose problems that my students need to review and practice. We call this time our Warm-up. This template includes space for 4 days of warm-up - 3 problems per day; on Fridays we turn the paper over and journal on math topics to practice explaining our skills. This template helps students to keep everything organized and in one place, while making it very easy for teachers to collect up at the end of each week.
*I use this for my math class, but really could be used for ANY subject as an opener activity.
